House District 78

Because our current Delegate here in HD 78 has run unopposed since 2013, the questions surrounding our district and just how "blue" it is here are somewhat nebulous.  However, I would argue that Chesapeake is becoming more blue based on the last few elections, particularly the most recent presidential election.  As you can see here:

 https://www.vpap.org/offices/house-of-delegates-78/district/

In the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump won in HD 78 with 62% of the vote, while Clinton had 33%.  In the 2018 Election for U.S. Senator, the numbers for the Democrat start to rise dramatically, with Stewart (R) getting 50%, while Tim Kaine (D) got 42%.

And as this map of Chesapeake City shows, (https://www.vpap.org/electionresults/20201103/president/), in the 2020 presidential election, President Biden wins with 52.2%, beating Donald Trump with 45.8 %.

These numbers would suggest that Chesapeake is slowly becoming more purple, but there is still much to do in order to win as a Democrat in this district, so please do what you can to help my campaign.

That's all I have for now.
